Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is looking for a Boxing-day Test against Australia in Melbourne.
The historic Borde-Gavaskar trophy is well poised now at the end of the half with both teams having a win each. After a gap, the series is set to resume on Melbourne as the Boxing-day Test. Ahead of the third Test of the series, Indian vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane addressed the press. During the session, Ajinkya Rahane has said that he is looking for a big score in the Boxing-day Test. “I am sure it will come in this match. The way I am batting, from Adelaide to Perth, the mindset I was into counter-attack and the rhythm I was batting in, maybe 100 or even 200 can come.” The 30-yr-old is confident about his batting rhythm in the first two Tests of the series and that has made him high in confidence. “I think it is more important for me not to think about it. I have to continue batting the way I am. I can read the situation a bit better and if I can play like that it will be better for the team. Personal milestones can be achieved later as well.
