All students’ visage changed in a moment before staying upon the station of shuttle train of Chittagong University. All were flushed by various sorts of hue, someone blue, someone purple, someone green, someone red and what not !
Where they found familiar one on route, they were throwing a handful dye upon them from colorful rally. The mere purports to be crimsoned mingle with dye. On the other hand, some juniors were carrying their seniors for the purpose of merriment.
Someone was busy to catch the colorful moment in frame of camera. By means of that process, the Rag Day of Department of Law, 20th Batch, Chittagong University, was started.
Marking the end of academic life, the students of 20th Batch of the Department of Law of Chittagong University (CU) arranged daylong Rag Day on Monday. Dean of law faculty ABM Abu Noman and former Chairman Dr ZafferUllahTalukder inaugurated the Rag Day through cutting a cake .Associate professor Dr MoinUddin and Abdullah al Mamun also present at the aesthetic ceremony.
The day was the day of thrill and great fiesta for everyone especially for the outgoing students. The day was marked by a busy schedule of programs including a colorful rally on campus, launch with teachers, and cultural functions.
The programme was formally began from the University railway station early in the morning with the distribution of T-shirts. Students brought out a colorful rally around 9 am and danced along with song and reached the department premise through ‘Social Science ‘ road. After inauguration program the students of different years enjoyed the color water splashing.
The black pitchy road of the campus became colorful in different colors. There was no shortage of decorating the faculty.
Around 1.30 pm students went for launch. after having launch many were seen capturing the moment in cameras and some were seen capturing selfie with friends ,senior ,juniors and outgoing students.
Above all, a cultural program was also held where gathered not only laws` students but also many students of other faculties.
However ,some were seen skipping their tears after embracing with their 5-year long friends ,some were seen pouring tears behind the smiling face as they have to leave the ever-memorable campus ,shuttle train, friends, teachers ,juniors, varsity staffs where they passed five years.
The program ended with the Aatasbaji and immediately began to fly firebox in the sky.
Nirjor, an outgoing student said that the tears come light when feeling that I have leave campus,the nearest friend Mohtasim adding that the campus gives everything . I will miss every single memory,heaslso added.
