Singer of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra Rafiqul Alam has rendered 29 songs on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his birth centenary. Rafiqul Alam confirmed the matter yesterday. His rendered these songs are being aired in different platforms including BTV and Betar. Dr Baizid Khurshid, Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, Kabir Bakul, Safat Khoiyam, among
others, wrote lyrics of these songs. Sheikh Sadi Khan, Maksud Jamil Mintu, late Farid Ahmed, Aminul Islam, Anisur Rahman Tonu, among others, composed music
of these songs. While talking about rendering these songs Rafiqul Alam said, “As I was the singer of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, so I had fascination and emotion while rendering these songs on Bangabandhu. I am really satisfied to render these songs. I have love to them who composed these songs. In fact, during corona, I have rendered some good songs. It is my satisfaction.”
Rafiqul Alam also said that he has rendered the song Nongor tolo tolo somoy je holo holo, which lyrics were written by Noyeem Gohor and music was composed by Samar Das, in new way under the musical arrangement by Pavel. According to Rafiqul Alam, he did not render any song earlier with such a great arrangement. Chirkutt band’s Sumi and Shakib also lent their voices with Rafiqul Alam in the song, which video was made by Abrar. Rafiqul Alam is very much satisfied to render the song.
