The Department of National Consumer Rights protection (DNCRP) have drives in Rafa Filling Station, Pakundia on Wednesday noon, fines Tk 1 lakh for fraud, cheating consumers in Pakundia town of Kishoreganj.

It is known that the operation was conducted on Wednesday in various filling stations in Pakundia of Kishoreganj. The campaign involved measuring petrol, octane and diesel at Es Rafa filling station. At this time, it can be seen that 130 ml in petrol, 120 ml in octane and 150 ml in diesel are being given less to the consumers. According to the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, the company was fined one lakh taka.
AD in DNCRP Rahday Ronjon Bonik told the New Nation that they were fined Tk. 100,000 for giving less fuel. In case of irregularity in the supply of products, any organization is requested to complain to the Directorate. These operations will continue in public interest.
