Popular FM channel, Radio Bhumi 92.8 will broadcast live commentary in Bangla of all 49 matches of the ICC World Cup Cricket 2015 from Australia and New Zealand.
Former players of the National Cricket Team, sports organisers and celebrities will take part in commentary of those matches.
Chairman of Radio Bhumi and Managing Director of Impress Telefilm Ltd/Channel i Faridur Reza Sagor announced the matter at a press conference held at Channel i studio in the city’s Tejgaon area on Wednesday.
Coordinated by popular actress Suborna Mustafa seven members of the commentary team are: Amitav, Sami, Mahfuz, Shamsul, Borhan, Kamruzzaman and Tamman Daula.
Popular sports commentator Shamim Ashraf Chowdhury, former cricket player of the national team Javed Omar Belim and actress Suborna Mustafa also spoke at the press conference.
