A seminar on ‘Rabindranath and Hafiz Poetry: Spiritual Correlation’ was held at Senate Building of Rajshahi University (RU) recently.
RU’s Department of Persian Language and Literature organized the seminar, largely attended by academics and researchers on the issue, reports BSS.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Abdus Sobhan addressed the seminar as chief guest while Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh Reja Nafar and RU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Ananda Kumar Saha spoke as special guests with Chairman of the department Prof Osman Gani in the chair. Arts Faculty Dean Prof Fazlul Haque and Iranian Embassy’s Cultural Consular Dr Sayeed Hassan Sihat also spoke.
