As a distinguished researcher, lyricist, historian, journalist and editor, dedicated to literature and committed to the nation, Rabbani Choudhury has the credit of writing and editing 115 books. For more than three decades, he has been in U.K. as an expatriate Bangladeshi and his publication of books continues on a regular basis. Rabbani Choudhury’s creativity includes language, literature, literary personalities, history of literature, culture and tradition.
Rabbani Choudhury’s wife Choudhury Jebin Rabbani and some other renowned publishers have been publishing his books. The number of his books, (some of the books are huge in volume) speaks of the range of his intellectual pursuit and labour, his dedication to his mission. Living far away from Bangladesh-his motherland-he is very regular in his efforts and works. He has written in English also on the history of our literature. Patriotism of such a writer, working in national and international perspective, deserves admiration and thanks. The next generation of poets, researchers and writers is expected to follow the mission and vision of this intellectual personality.
