UNB, Dhaka :Director General of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Benazir Ahmed on Monday said the elite force will distribute leaflets against subversive acts across the country through helicopters.”The leaflets will urge people to be vocal against those involved in unleashing terrorism, killing people and seditious acts,” he said. The elite force chief was speaking at a function at Gulistan marking the distribution of awards among those who helped Rab arrest saboteurs.Benazir expressed the hope that the peace-loving people will stand firm against anarchy unleashedin the name of hartal and blockade. “The country’s people in the past resisted saboteurs like second-in-command of Islamic outfit JMB Bangla Bhai,” he added.The Rab DG claimed that the law and order situation is under full control, saying few sporadic incidents are occurring but those will be contained very soon.Earlier, Benazir distributed leaflets containing various slogans like “Maa Kapchhe, Jolche Desh, Ghore Darao Bangladesh” among different types of vehicles, including bus, private car and microbus, in the area.
