The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka on Tuesday once again fixed December 30 for submission of the probe report in the murder case of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.
Magistrate Mohammad Maruf Hossain set the new date following a time petition filed by Rapid Action Battalion assistant police super and also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, Wares Ali Miah.
The court has so far deferred the date for submission of the probe report for 29 times.

Sagar Sarowar and ATN Bangla senior reporter Meherun Runi were found killed at their rented flat in Dhaka’s Rajabazar area.
Three investigation officers of the case have so far been changed. The fourth one, Wares Ali, took over the onus of investigation into the gruesome murder in March this year.
