RAB arrested a man on charge of deceiving people with fake visas of different countries, luring them with jobs overseas from Dhaka’s Shah Ali area on Thursday.
Mozammel Haque, Commanding Officer of RAB-4 said that a team of RAB arrested Siddiqur Rahman alias Siddique Biswas (45), ringleader of a fraud gang, from Bisil residential area around 2:15am.
During primary interrogation, Mozammel admitted that he used to set up “visa processing offices” in areas including Mirpur and Mohammadpur, and took money from people, luring them with jobs in Malaysia, Russia, India and European countries.
He deceived people by fake visas, the RAB official added.
