RAB-12 led by Assistance Police Super and Acting Company Commander Rawshan Ali arrested three drug traders with hemp and phensidyl in Bogura on Saturday.
Team of Bogura camp conducted a raid a village of Nimgachi Union under Dhunat upazila in the district of Bogura and arrested the drug peddlers with 375 grams of hemp, a mobile and two SIM cards.
The arrestee was identified as Maznu Mia, 32, son of Golzar Hossain Mondal from Dhamachapa village of the upazila.
On the other hand, an empty pickup from Dinajpur was searched
at Yakubia Girls High School under Sadar upazila and they arrested Abdul Matin (35), son of Abdul Quddus from Joypurpara village and Swapan 24, son of Nazrul Islam at Matdaly village under Sadar upazila with 387 bottle of contraband Phensidyl.
Acting Company Commander Rawshan Ali said that the arrested drug traders had been supplying drugs to various places of the country, buying marijuana and selling Phensidyl in the district for a long time. The accused have been handed over to Dhunat and Sadar police stations in the district for taking legal action against the drug dealers.
