Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an overnight raid arrested two youths from Board Bazar area of Gazipur district with some instruments used for making fake certificates, mark sheets, National Identity Cards (NIDs) and police clearance certificates.
A press release of RAB said yesterday that the arrested were identified as Safin Arafat Tuhin, 32, and Mohamamd Selim, 33.
“Some 135 fake certificates and mark sheets of different local and foreign schools, colleges, madrasas, and universities, 15 police clearance certificates, four income tax certificates, 34 car registration certificates, fake cheque books of One Bank Limited, five fake national identity cards (NID), one CPU, one monitor, one printer and one key-board were seized from a house at Free School Street of Kathal Bagan in the city,” the release said.
A case was filed.
