Members of the elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 has claimed to have arrested two suspected members of banned Islamist militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from city’s Adabor and Mohammadpur on Wednesday.
They are identified as Md Yasin Ahmed, 26, son of one Ismail Khan, from Vatsala Chapur village of Brahmanbaria, and Mosahed Khan Mishu,30, son of one Md Moin Uddin Khan hailing from Haman Poddi area of Mohishadi union in Chandpur.
Yasin Ahmed used to live at a rented house on the Shaheed Salimullah Road and Mishu on the
Road No-13 of PC Culture Housing area in Mohammadpur.
RAB-8 detained Yasin from Mohammadpur area and Mosahed from Adabor area.
According to the RAB officials, the detainees admitted their affiliation with JMB.
