Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5 has provided humanitarian assistance to 350 jobless and worst-affected households, who were affected by the countrywide lockdown enforced by government to contain the spread of Covid-19.
Each of the families were given a 17.4-kilogram food package containing – 10 kilograms of rice, two kilograms of pulse and edible oil each, one kilogram of sugar, salt and noodles each, 400 grams of vermicelli and one dozen of matches so that they can meet their food demand.
The RAB authority distributed the food items in Nabinagar area on Thursday through maintaining health rules to contain Covid-19 spread.
RAB-5 Commanding Officer Lt Col Ziaur Rahman Talukder attended the distribution programme as the chief guest.
