Mintu Abdur Rahman, Staff Reporter, Rangpur :The people of 10 villages under Pirgachha upazila in the district are suffering much due to absence of a permanent bridge over the dead Teesta river at Chhawla area of the upazila.Some 45,000 people of the villages including Bazrapara, Namapara, Shibdeb, Janatarbazar, Vuttarbazar Bairagipara and Mandalpara village are to cross a bamboo-made bridge over the river to come to the upazila headquarter amid risk, sources said.Business and public health services are seriously being hampered...
