Bangladesh General Students’ Rights Protection Council (BGSRPC), who spearheaded the quota reformation movement in 2018, has demanded the resignation of Dhaka University (DU) Proctor AKM Golam Rabbani.
BGSRPC Joint Convener Md Rashed Khan announced the demand while addressing a press conference in front of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday.
Rashed also said that the health of their fellow member Tuhin Farabi has deteriorated further, and he has subsequently been sent back to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Tuhin was attacked in Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) building on December 22, along with Ducsu Vice President Nurul Haque Nur.
