Qulkhwani of SM Shukkur Ali, father of BSS’s Uttara correspondent SM Monir Hossain Jibon, was held at his home in village Chondalvog in Turag area, on the outskirts of the capital on Monday. Shukkur died of old age complications on September 10, leaving behind five sons, one daughter, host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. A Doa Mahfil was held at his home. Foods were also distributed among the destitute on this occasion.
