Noted philanthropist, and mother of AKM Zakaria, Senior Deputy Editor of Prothom Alo, Ayesha Khatun died at Shomorita Hospital due to old age complications at 3.00 AM on 1st July. She was 89. Her namaz-e-janaza was held at the Malibag Chowdhurypara Government Colony Jame Mosque on Tuesday. She was buried at her family graveyard at Syedpur village in Kachua upazila.
Her Qulkhwani will be held at the village on Friday after the Jumma prayer and on Saturday, at the Malibag Chowdhurypara Government Colony Mosque after Asr prayer.
