The Quantum Foundation beat Puraton Bandura Nabin Setu Sangha by 33-7 goals in the opening match of the Marcel LED Television First Division Handball League at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Friday.
The winners led the first half by 24-2 goals.
Earlier, Executive Director of RB Group SM Zahid Hasan inaugurated the competition as the chief guest while Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Head of Marketing of Marcel Mosharrof Hossain Rajeeb were with him as special guests.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Vive-Chairman of the League Committee Rawshan Ara Zaman and Secretary of the League Committee Md Ayub Ali were present at the time.
