Project Director of Quality Education Project of University Grants Commission and Additional Secretary Dr.Gouranga Chandra Mohanta emphasized the need of quality education .
He said there is no alternative of university accreditation otherwise questions of acceptability of higher education will be questionable.
He expressed satisfaction over the education curriculum and technological progress of the Chittagong Vaterinary and Science University.
He said UGC sanctioned Tk.12 crores for 10 sub-projects which already implemented . He disclosed it addressing the workshop as arranged by University Institutional Quality Assurances cell of CVASU as Chief Guest.
Vice chancellor of the CVASU Dr.Goutam Buddha Das also addressed the workshop as chief patroniser. VC presented the future plans of the university through multimedia projections. Project Director of higher education project Prof. Dr.AKM Saifuddin presided the workshop, sources said.
Additonal Directeor Prorf. Goutom Kumar devnath delivered address of welcome on the occasions. Quality Assuranes Specialist and former VC of Noakhali Science & Technology Univeristy Prof. Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikhari, Dean of Fisheries Faculty Prof. Dr.M Nurul Absar Khan, Dean of Food science & Technology Prof. Dr.Md. Raihan Faruk, dean of veterinary medicine Prof. Md. Abdul Halim were present in the workshop as special guests. Meanwhile visiting Project Director of UGC Dr. Gouranga Chandra Mohanta physically witnessed the implemented projects, sources s aid.
