A team of Japanese experts on Sunday conducted an earthquake preparedness training session for the students of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in the city’s Baily Road to give an idea to the students how they should react during a massive tremor.
They trained the students with videos on major earthquakes and interactive demonstration.
The training session was conducted jointly by CNCRP project under Public Works Department (PWD) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The JICA expert team with support of the local non-government organization ‘The Earth’ will conduct a series of such trainings in other schools of the capital phase by phase.
