A 19-member ruling Awami League delegation led by the party’s General Secretary Obaidul Quader, yesterday held a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence, according to the party source.
The delegation started the day by paying tributes to the memorial of India’s Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at Rajghat in New Delhi.

Syed Muazzem Ali also hosted a dinner in honour of the team at the High Commission office on Sunday evening.
AL leaders participated a dinner yesterday evening hosted by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Ram Madhav.
The delegation will return back to the country today.
