Quader asks ‘intruders’ to quit Awami League

Newly elected Secretary General of Bangladesh Awami league Obaidul Quader said there might be differences of opinions inside the party but the party chief Sheikh Hasina will not tolerate any disunity. He urged the party-men to be united under the leadership of Bangabandhu daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for country’s development.
Newly elected General Secretary of Awami League (AL) Obidul Quader today said BNP is a party of political bankruptcy which merely depends on foreign power instead of gaining popularity of common to go to state power.
Obaidul Quader, also Minister for Road Transport and Bridges, said such a bankrupt party like BNP is rarely found in the world that depends on foreign blessings instead of the people of the country to assume state power. He said
“Sheikh Hasina does not impose leadership, rather she nurtures leader from grassroots level and include them into the party through integrating young and veteran party men, which is a proof of her political sagacity,” he said while addressing a mammoth reception in city’s Laldigi Maidan on Saturday evening.
