Pirojpur, a coastal district in South Western Bangladesh, is in dire need of potable water. The residents of this region have been drinking the saline water of the Shallow Tube well for a long time. As a result, they are suffering from various water-borne diseases.

In fact, there is a shortage of potable water in every coastal district in Bangladesh like Pirojpur. Qatar Charity has been working tirelessly for a long time to resolve this crisis by installing deep tube wells or deep-water pumps.

Qatar Charity has recently installed several solar-powered water pumps in the Kadamtala Union of Pirojpur Sadar upazila. The locals are getting purified water through RO (Reverse Osmosis) technology. About 6,000 people are benefiting from this project.
