Under the supervision of Qatar Charity Bangladesh Office, sacrificial meat was distributed among 20,000 helpless and distressed families from 19 places in the country through highly disciplined management aimed corona pandemic.
The meat was prepared very neatly before distribution. After slaughtering the cattle according to the hygiene rules, each part of the body was hung separately, then the meat was cut into small pieces and distributed in a polythene bag.
Meat recipients spontaneously lined up one after another to receive ‘Eid Gift’ from the Qatar Charity. The meat of the sacrifice was also delivered from house to house in different places.
The meat distribution activities were conducted in the presence of local government representatives.
Dr. Mohammad Amin Hafiz Omar, Director, Bangladesh Office of Qatar Charity led the meat distribution activities from the Bhairab Center in Kishoreganj, said a press release.
Representatives of the Bangladesh office of the charity were present at important centers including Gangachara in Rangpur, Aditmari in Lalmonirhat, Dhamrai in Dhaka, Sylhet Sadar, Kumarkhali in Kushtia, and Fakirhat in Bagerhat.
The local administration was taken the necessary security measures to ensure the smooth functioning of the meat distribution activities.
