Enamul Haque, a 53-year-old expatriate from Hat hazari in Chittagong, died in 2019 from an irredeemable disease.
He came to homeland Bangladesh from Qatar just 4 months before his death due to serious illness.
Enamul thought he would recover, go abroad again and work, put a smile on the faces of children.
However, Enamul’s dream did not come true.
In addition to high blood pressure, Enamul’s diabetes levels were out of control. He had a sore leg, which did not subside after hundreds of attempts, but spread further.
In the meanwhile, his kidney complications appeared.
At one stage, Enamul Haque died on April 22, 2019.
Enamul’s wife, Shahana Sultana, was worried about her 3 children’s future after losing the only earning person in the family.
A few months later, she compelled to move with her children to her elder brother Mohsin as there were many tensions in the combined family of her husband’s house.
While living with uncertainty, Qatar Charity has brought hope, happiness and smile to her and the three helpless children.
The widow, who lost her husband, has been given a beautiful one-story building by Qatar Charity.
The 1600 sq ft 6 room building has 3-bed rooms, including a drawing and dining room and 3 toilets, and a kitchen room.
With her three children Shahana is now living in this well-decorated house since August this year.
Getting a permanent shelter to live, Shahana has a real smile on her face now.
Besides this, Qatar Charity has also taken responsibility for her three children Abdullah, Ayatullah, and Asadullah.
Every child is being given 3 thousand takas (local currency) every month.
Shahana’s only dream now is to grow up her three boys as a real human being.
However, her worries have been allayed as the Qatar charity has made the house as well as taking care of the children, she wants to raise her children in ideal education`, Shahana said.
Shahana’s eldest son, Abdullah Rashin, a 10th grader, said that they are so happy to have a nice house, and they three brothers are not facing any problem to study as Qatar Charity assists monthly.
In the last 4 years, Qatar Charity gifted this type of twenty-eight (28) multi designed accommodation for the indigent families in different parts of the country under the program of `Housing for the poor,’ those who have lost their key guardian and fallen in an uncertain life.
Some programs are still running in the country as an important part of Qatar Charity Bangladesh’s social welfare and development activities.
