Qatar Airways hosted a Fun Day for 100 children from three orphanages in Dhaka recently.
The three orphanages are Darul Ulum Korail Madrasa and Orphanage, Mohakhali Darul Aman Orphanage and Azizia Madrasa and Orphanage.
The fun-filled day of activities included musical chairs, tug-of-war, face-painting, and bouncy castles at the Lakeshore Hotel in the city.
H.E. Ahmed Al Dehaimi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bangladesh, distributed prizes and gifts to the children as chief guest.
Jayaprakash Nair, Qatar Airways Country Head Bangladesh, said: “On the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan, we are tremendously pleased to be able to host a fun-filled day of activities for children from three orphanages.”
“This initiative is just one of the ways in which we demonstrate our commitment to giving back to the community of Bangladesh. The Holy Month of Ramadan reminds us of the importance of giving to others, and we are truly grateful to have made a difference to these children,” he added.

It was also named ‘Best Business Class Seat’, ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’, and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge’.
