Power Development Board (PDB) retained title of men’s division National Volleyball competition beating Bangladesh Army by 3-1 set in the final held on Monday at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur.
In the day’s women’s division final, Bangladesh Ansar emerge champions defeating Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation by 3-0 set held at the same venue.
In the day’s third place-deciding matches, Bangladesh Navy of men’s division and Rajshahi district of women’s division finished third beating their respective rivals Titas Gas and Chittagong district, both by 3-1 set.
Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury was the chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
