Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GSF) Founder and Trustee Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury said yesterday, when 1,000 liter of oxygen costs Tk 70 only, whereas many private hospitals are charging Tk one lakh even.
Dr Zafrullah told this to the media after BNP MP Barrister Rumeen Farhana went to the Blood Donation Centre of Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhanmondi to donate plasma after making recovery from corona-virus on Wednesday.
Microbiology Department’s Professor Mahabubur Rahman, Pathology Department Chief Ghulam Muhammad Qureshi, Press Adviser of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Mohammad Jahangir Alam Mintu, and Director of Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital Shawkat Ali Arman, among others, were present on the occasion.
