Entertainment Report :Close Up 1 famed popular singer Putul went to Canada for one month. She left Dhaka on Tuesday night. She reached Toronto in Canada at 2:30pm (Canadian local time). Basically in her month-long visit Putul went to Canada to perform in several stage shows there. On April 18, she will first perform in Toronto. After a break of few days, she will again perform there. Therefore, Putul will also perform in Montreal and Ottawa. Before leaving Bangladesh Putul told this correspondent, “Before performing outside the country I have taken necessary preparations and practices in this regard. Basically I am going there to perform on the occasion of celebration of Bengali New Year after getting invitation from the South Asian Art & Culture Society. Everybody pray for me as I can successfully perform there.” Putul will return to Dhaka on May 16. After returning home Putul will start to finish works of her next solo album. Fifty percent works of this album have already been done, Putul said.
