UNB, Dhaka :
Russian President Vladimir Putin will surely visit Bangladesh in due time, said Russian Ambassador in Dhaka Alexander A Nikolaev here on Saturday.
“So, I would like to repeat the visit will take place and will be held in proper time and proper year,” he told reporters at a press conference in a city hotel.
NIAEP Vice President and in-charge of Bangladesh NNP project Maksim V Elchischev and Head of Russian Centre of Science & Culture in Dhaka AP Demin were also present.
The Ambassador, however, said such official visit at high level requires some ‘significant’ documents, papers and agreements to be concluded.

Under an agreement with the government, Russia’s state-owned nuclear power operator, Rosatom, will construct two units of the Rooppur nuclear power plant (RNPP) and a general agreement is expected to be signed this year.
Asked whether Putin will remain present at the signing ceremony, the Russian diplomat parried the question saying it is a mutually negotiable matter.
