As a citizen of the country and also a popular film actress, Purnima always works for the welfare of the countrymen. She also takes part in social awareness creating activities and programmes.
This winter Pran Up has taken an initiative to distribute warm clothes among the people who need these during this season. Purnima said that from January 24 to 30 a certain amount of money will be collected through depositing used bottles or any other products of Pran Up at its 20 best outlets or keeping at its winter booths in different parts of the country. After collecting money from these seven days after selling these items will be used to buy blankets for the people who need these. Bappa Mahmud has made a video in this regard casting Purnima which shooting was held on January 13 and 14.
While talking in this regard Purnima told this correspondent, “As a citizen, I always take part in public awareness creating activities in Dhaka and outside the capital. As a citizen, I have responsibility in this regard. As an actress, I always want to do something for the people of the country. The social awareness creating activity is Chhorai Bhalobashar Ushnota. I have taken part in this activity joyfully. I believe everybody will come forward for the people who have been suffering from cold. I give thanks to Tonmoy Das to engage me with such an activity.”
Purnima also informed that now she is also engaged with shooting of Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s movie Jam.
