National Film Award winning actress Purnima has been giving time to anchoring in different TV shows besides acting. In the meantime, she is also giving time to stage shows. She anchored the National Film Award giving ceremony along with Ferdous on March 23. On Independence Day, she performed in
a show in Bagerhat under the choreography by Evan Shahriar Sohag. Purnima will be seen as anchor in Iftar related show in four TV channels at a time round the month of Ramzan.
The actress will anchor the show titled Radhuni Iftar-er Ayojone before Iftar time on Maasranga TV, Deepto TV, Channel24 and SA TV at a time. Viewers will watch her in this show everyday during the month of Ramzan. Under the coordination of Shabnaz and Aftab Bin Tomiz, viewers will see Purnima as anchor of 30-episode show, Iftar-er Ayojone. Directed by Zahid Hasan Sumon, shooting of this programme has been completed recently.
While talking about anchoring this show, Purnima said, “Earlier, I had experience to attend in different TV shows related to Iftar as an invited guest. But for the first time, I have anchored 30-episode show related to Iftar in four TV channels at a time. I will be present in four TV channels with 30 recipes in 30 days during Ramzan. I have really enjoyed anchoring such a programme. I worked as judge in Shera Radhuni and this time I have worked as an anchor of Radhuni sponsored Iftar related TV show. I hope viewers will enjoy this show.”
Purnima last anchored a show titled Purnimar Alo on Desh TV. She last acted in two movies – Jam and Gungchil. Chironjib Mujib was Purnima acted her last released movie where she played the role of Bongomata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib. Lastly she also worked as a judge in a TV reality show.
