Before Eid-ul-Azha popular film actress Purnima was confirmed to perform as a model in two TV commercials (TVC). Later she worked in a TVC. During that time she was engaged with acting in TV plays. After a break of Eid holidays, she will again perform as a model in a TVC.
Today evening Purnima will take part in shooting of a TVC at a shopping mall in the city’s Uttara area. She will work in a TVC of a plastic-shelf of a multinational company. She has confirmed the matter yesterday.
While talking in this regard she told this correspondent, “I have already got many offers to work in TV plays and serials. But right now I am not interested to work in the small screen. I have been passing days by own way. Though I was supposed to work in two TVCs before Eid but I could only one work during that time. So I have to finish other work now. Theme of the TVC is nice. Today its shooting will continue over the night.”
Sunbeam Ashraf will make the TVC. Before Eid under same director’s direction Purnima also performed in another TVC of Topper Pressure Cooker. Two TVCs will go on air soon in all the satellite channels of the country.
Meanwhile, despite getting many proposals to work some plays on the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day Purnima yet not confirmed to work. If she does not get good story she will not work, Purnima mentioned.
It is noted that Purnima acted last released movie was Sohanur Rahman Sohan’s Lobhey Paap Paapey Mrityu. She started her acting career by Zakir Hossain Raju’s movie E Jibon Tomar Aamar. She for the first time got the National Film Award in 2010 for Kazi Hayat’s movie Ora Amake Bhalo Hotey Dilo Na.
