Sheikh Arif Bulbon :In 2007, when she was getting married popular actress Purnima last worked with popular TV actor and director Mir Sabbir in a play titled Moner Raza. It was Mir Sabbir produced first play. Main story of the play was also written by him. Raihan Khan made the play. Later four years ago, Purnima and Sabbir performed together in a TV commercial of Citycell. On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr, Purnima and Sabbir again worked together in a special play titled Bhimroti Birombona under the direction of Imraul Rafat. Hamed Hasan Noma wrote story of the play. While talking about the play Purnima told this correspondent, “It was my first work under Rafat’s direction. He is a talented director. He works well. While working under his direction I enjoyed a lot so that I couldn’t realise when the work finished. After a long time, I worked with Mir Sabbir. I hope viewers will enjoy the play.”Mir Sabbir shared his feelings by this way, “Purnima is such an actress by whom anybody can easily think that she is the actress of small screen because she works cordially with the actors of the small screen. Now she has become more matured actress. I have realised it while working with her. There are many actresses of present time who does not know to acting but feel what an actress they are. But Purnima is really a real actress who has simplicity in acting.”The play Bhimroti Birombona will be aired on Channel i in Eid. On the occasion of coming Eid, Mir Sabbir’s only directed fraction play Bapbeta Diwana will be aired. Its story was also written by Sabbir. It will be aired on RTV. In the play, Sabbir acted in role of father, while Sayeed Babu played the role of his son. Therefore, Sabbir acted 10 single episode plays and three serials will be aired in Eid.
