It is little bit late to come Eid but the directors have already started to make Eid telefilms and plays. Three directors are going to make three plays to cast National Film Award winner actress Purnima. These three directors are: Chayanika Chowdhury, Sraboni Ferdous and Rajibul Islam Rajib.
End of this month Chayanika will make a play titled Talpatar Pakha. In her long time career in the field of direction, for the first time Purnima worked under Purnima’s direction. So she is very much excited in this regard.
On the other hand, though Sraboni Ferdous is a newcomer in field of direction but she has already been accepted to the viewers positively by virtue of her exceptional making. For this reason, viewers get something new in her directed works. To cast Purnima and Emon, Sraboni will make a play titled Mrs Cook. Shooting of Chayanika’s play is scheduled to be held on April 29 and 30. Shooting of Sraboni’s play will be held after election of Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association which is scheduled to be held on May 5. But Rajibul Islam Rajib’s play’s scheduled yet not finalised. His story of the play also yet not confirmed. But Purnima informed that she will work in his play.
Meanwhile, Purnima won the post of executive committee member of Film Actors’ Association in 2004’s election. In 2007, she again contested in same post in the biennial election of Film Actors’ Association.
While talking about her election Purnima told this correspondent, “I start election campaign through seeking votes to the voters within two or three days. I hope I will win the election and our panel will also win in the race.”
It is noted that after a break of six months, Purnima has returned to media by performing as a model in a TVC of Mizanur Rahman. Emon was her co-performer. Already she has acted with Mosharraf Karim and Nobel in a play titled Jokhon Somoy Thomkey Darai under Raihan Khan’s direction. It will be aired on Rtv in Eid-ul-Fitr, Purnima said.
