National Film Award winning popular actress Dilara Hanif Purnima signed an agreement on Wednesday noon to act in a government granted movie titled ‘Ahare Jibon.’ Noted film director Chatku Ahmed wrote story of the movie and he will also give direction of it. Purnima will play the role of Dola in this movie.
The actress informed that for the first time she is going to work in a government granted movie. While talking about returning to acting after taking break for some days and is also going to act in a government granted movie, Purnima told this correspondent, “Respected Chatku Bhai is a renowned veteran filmmaker of our country. After many days, he has decided to make a movie and also decided to cast me in role of Dola in his movie. Other actors, who will also act in the movie, they are favourite to Chatku Bhai. Therefore, story of the movie is also nice. Overall, it is a government granted film. After thinking many things, I have finally decided to work in this movie. Today (Wednesday) I have signed an agreement to act in the movie. As Chatku Bhai is a renowned director, so I hope it will become a nice movie at all.”
Director Chatku Ahmed told this correspondent that shooting of ‘Ahare Jibon’ will kick off in October. This film got a grant worth of Tk60 lakh from the government for the 2021-22 financial year. Taju Kamrul will work as assistant director in this movie. Shooting of this movie will take place in Dhaka and its adjacent areas.
Meanwhile, Purnima starrer movies, ‘Gangchil’ and ‘Jam,’ are awaiting to get release dates.
It is noted that Chhotku Ahmed last made movie ‘Protibadi Master’ casting late hero Manna. ‘Ahare Jibon’ will be his directorial first government granted movie.
