As a model, Purnima Bristi has already got stardom. She also acted in television dramas and also got popularity. But viewers were very much eager to watch her in the silver screen. At last, that waiting is going to end on October 22. Her acted first movie Dhaka Dream is set to release on that day. Directed by Proshoon Rahmaan, story, script and dialogue of the movie were also written by director himself. Actress Purnima Bristi is now engaged with promotional campaign of her debut movie now. Purnima Bristi informed that she played in a challenging role Parul in Dhaka Dream. Including director everybody of the unit was impressed with
performance of Purnima Bristi in the movie. But Purnima Bristi was not satisfied. According to her, her acting would be much better. She commented this during dubbing of the film. But everybody related to the film said Purnima Bristi did well as it was her first movie. While talking about to release her first movie Purnima Bristi said, “Basically story of Dhaka Dream is for them who come from outside the capital. After watching the movie, viewers can realise it. I also realised it. I can truly say that Proshoonda wrote a nice story for the film. I am very much optimistic about the film. I believe viewers will enjoy the film
on the screen.”
It is mentioned that noted singer and flute player late Bari Siddiqui last lent his voice for play-back song in Dhaka Dream. For this reason, the movie has been dedicated to him.
Purnima Bristi also said that after working in Dhaka Dream, she also
started shooting of Sourav Kundu directorial movie Girgiti. Now her
co-actor of this film Taskin is outside the country. So, shooting of this movie remains stalled now. However, its shooting will start soon, the actress hoped. Purnima Bristi performed TVCs of Sepnil and Maltova are being telecasted in different TV channels now.
