A resolution was moved in the Punjab Assembly on Monday in this regard, reports Dunya TV of Pakistan on their online news site on Tuesday.Earlier in May, a condemnation resolution was moved in the provincialassembly by Leader of the Opposition, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Mehmoodur Rasheed after Motiur Rehman Nizami’s hanging over war crimes charges. In his resolution, the opposition leader demanded Pakistan government to raise the issue before international human rights organisations. He argued against the executions of war criminals stating that Bangladeshi government awarded death penalties to Jamaat-e-Islami leaders for their love for Pakistan.
