The leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League of different wards of Motihar Thana Unit demanded exemplary punishment to Rajshahi University (RU) unit BCL leader Robi’s killers on a human chain programme. The human chain programme was formed around 11am in front of Kazla gate of RU.
Nizam Ali (Rupom), General Secretary of 26 number ward unit BCL conducted the program while it president Rohul Amin Sarker (Prince) presided over the program and RU BCL Joint Secretary Sahanul Sarkar Don, Vice President Kazi Aminul Islam Linkon, Rajshahi Metropolitan general secretary Roki Kumar Gosh, Joint Secretary of Mohila League of Rajshahi Mertopolitan Masuda Karim Rumi, Motihar thana president Alam Hossain Alam, among others addressed the programme .
Speakers on the programme demanded immediate exemplenary punishment of the killers. They alleged all accussed are freed from jail taking bail from court and is trying hindering on case.
Safiqul Islam, younger of victim said the final charge sheet of RU School and College student and also BCL activist Rabiul Islam Robi murder case is yet to be submitted although five years have elapsed after the murder. Family members are frustrated not to see the judgment of his (Robi).

It is mentionable that , he was allegedly killed by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal men at Fine Arts Faculty area of the RU campus on 14 April, 2013 who came here for celebrating Pohela Boishak over a previous enmity between them.
