A human chain was formed demanding exemplary punishment to the killers of house wife Bina Khatun (18) of Chaumuhan village in Baraigram. UP member Imran Hossain Kalu, deceased’s father Belal Hossain, mother Najma Begum, brother Mehedi Hasan, social workers Dulal Pramanik and Shamim Ahmed spoke during the human chain on the side of Rajapur-Zonail road at Jonail Pagla Bazaar on Tuesday.
At this time, the speakers said that on September 4, Bina was brutally beaten to death by her husband Masum with the help of her relatives.
There were injury marks on his body. Mehedi Hasan, the brother of the deceased, said that my father went to the police station and complained about the murder.
We are apprehensive about a proper trial for my sister’s killers. So I was forced to file a murder case in the court again. He demanded the arrest and exemplary punishment of all the killers of Bina.
Abu Siddique, OC of Baraigram police station, said that a case has been registered in the police station regarding this incident.
The deceased’s husband and brother-in-law were arrested and sent to jail through the court. Necessary action will be taken after seeing the post mortem report.
