The officials irrespective status in Seamen Welfare Directorate, Chittagong demanded legal actions against the unscrupulous official alleged involved with the making of fake Seamen Book (CDC) . The officials said supply of fake CDC is a highest crime as it links with the human trafficking through seamen service as well as it is undermining the reputation of the Bangladeshi seamen abroad after detection of forged CDC.CDC is as like as passport for shipping service .
The officials also alleged that Director of the Seamen Directorate Md. Nurul Alam Nizami is not taking any departmental actions against the unscrupulous employee Helaluddin who in involved with the preparations of fake CDC.
Mercentile Marine Department of Chittagong also traced the involvement of a official of Seamen Directorate for making fake CDC.
