Premier university Law Alumni Association arranged Doa Mahfil and reminiscence of former city mayor and founding initiator of the university Chattal Bandhu ABM Mohiuddin chowdhury at university campus at Prabartak on January 8 last. Vice chancellor of PU Dr. Anupam Sen graced the memorial meeting as chief guest. Younger son of the demise Borhanul Hasan chowdhury attended the meeting as principal speaker.
The chief guest in his brief deliberations said the founding initiator of Premier University ABM Mohiuddin chowdhury was not only politician rather a humanities politician which is rare in the society.
He mentioned Mohiuddin Chowedhury was a leader of Chittagong , working hero and valiant freedom fighter and the nation will never forget his contributions in the liberation war of Bangladesh. President of PULA executive committee senior Judicial Magistrate Md. Shoibuddin Khan presided over it duly attended by Registrar of PU Engr. Md. Abu Taher, prof Anup Kumar Biswas as special guests.
Other members of the executive committee of PULA were present in it, Office secretary Advocate SM Sakib Bin Sarwar sources said.
