Bagerhat district branch of Bangladesh Book Publishers and Sellers’ Association submitted a memorandum to Mohammad Azizur Rahman, DC, Bagerhat on Wednesday noon urging the government to declare corona-incentive package and donate grants in aids to the members of the association who are financially affected very badly following the corona pandemic.
At that time Md. Abu Zafar Molla (Bipu), President of the association, Imrul Kayes, General Secretary, Sharif Masudul Karim, Treasurer, Polash Das, Farhad Hossain, Masudur Rahman and some others were present there.
The leaders of the association told, due to the closure of the educational institutions of the country following the corona pandemic book publishers and sellers are the worst affected.
As a result, they (book publishers and sellers) are the worst affected. As a result, they have been living sub-human life along with their family members for more than one year.
