Freedom fighters working in government service have demanded their retirement age be raised by 2 years, following the increase in retirement age of general govt. employees.A group of government-employed freedom fighters led by the tax commissioner working in the national revenue board Dr SM Jahangir Alam, in a statement on Sunday demanded the raise.The Awami League government came to power in 2009 and increased the retirement age limit of freedom fighters working as government employees by two years.Next time retirement...
