The Bangladesh Bishwabidyalay Parishad has announced the possible date of admission test for the 2016-17 session for the Honours Courses before publishing of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations.
The Parished, a platform of all public universities’ Vice-Chancellors, took the decision at its Standing Committee meeting on Tuesday.
Vice-Chancellor of the Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University Professor Alauddin presided over the meeting attended by the Vice-Chancellors of almost all the public universities.
According to the meeting sources, the admission test at Dhaka University will start on September 23 and it will continue till October 28.
The admission test at Dhaka University will be taken in the morning and at Jagannath University in the afternoon of the same dates.
The test will start at Rajshahi University from on October 23 and will end on October 27, at Chittagong University on October 23 to 31, at Bangladesh University of Professionals on October 14 to 21, at Jahangirnagar University on November 19 to 27, at Khulna University on November 3 to 5, at Begum Rokeya University on November 13 to 17, at Islamic University on November 19 to 24, at Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University on November 24 to 28 and at Comilla University on December 2 to 9.
The admission test will be held at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) on 22 October, at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) on 26 October, at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on October 28, at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) on November 5 and at Bangladesh Textile University on November 28.
The test will be held at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University on December 9, at Bangladesh Agricultural University on October 29, at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University on November 8, at Sylhet Agricultural University on November 25, at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University on December 3.
The admission test will be held at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) on November 26, at Haji Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University on December 18 to 21, at Jessore University of Science and Technology November 4 to 7 November, at Moulana Bhashani Science and Technology University on December 10 to 11, at Patuakhali Science and Technology University on December 2, at Noakhali Science and Technology University on November 11 to 12 and at Pabna Science and Technology University on December 3.
