Public transport services such as buses, trains and launches will restart operations from May 31, the public administration ministry on Wednesday announced it.
As per the announcement the transport services will resume operations the day after the nationwide lockdown over the coronavirus outbreak ends on May30.
All of those transports will restart their operations with a fixed number of passengers.
In an order on Thursday, the Cabinet Division said the government will outline the steps that will have to be taken to resume public transport services between May 31 and Jun 15.
The Cabinet Division said, “Public transports, as like buses, maritime transports and rail services will operate during that time with a predetermined amount of passengers following strict measures of health safety rules and regulations.”
