Public opinion to amend law to check exam related crimes sought

The education ministry has taken an initiative to amend the existing law to prevent crimes involving public examination conducting, leakage of question papers and other exam related issues.
The existing law ‘The Public Examinations (offences) Act 1980 (Amended 1992)’ has been posted on the website of education ministry to take opinions of all concerned to make the amendment process more appropriate, said an official press release on Thursday.
All are requested to send their opinions to education ministry email account [email protected] or to submit hardcopies containing opinions at the ministry by September 30, 2014.
On receiving the opinions of the learned persons, quick actions would be taken after examining.
