The ministry of education has issued directives on Thursday to all the government colleges across the country to prepare dynamic website of their colleges to speed up all the activities of the college, said an official release.
The college authorities have been asked to inform the ministry about their website addresses by February 28.
The new website will include department-wise database and photograph of the college teachers, archive of the retired teachers database, academic calendar, department-wise class routine, replacement of the teachers if any teacher goes to leave, history of the college, infrastructure of the college, information on posts of the college (subject and rank wise), information on Class 3 and 4 employees, different exams results, information on admission, forms and notice of the college, student panel, teachers panel, guardian panel, photo gallery, subjectwise book lists in the library and complaint corner.
The data centre of Bangladesh Computer Council will host these college websites, the ministry release mentioned.
