Results of this year’s Primary School Certificate (PSC), Ebtedayee, Junior School Certificate (JSC), and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exams will be published between Dec 25 and 27.
A proposal has been sent to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina seeking her permission to publish PSC and Ebtedayee results between Dec 26 and 27, an official of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry told bdnews24.com on the condition of anonymity.
On the other hand, the education ministry sought time for JSC and JDC results between Dec 25 and 27, an official said.
The ministry will finalise the date after consulting the prime minister, he said.
The results of PSC and JSC exams were published together in 2017, as was done over the last few years. Usually, the results of PSC and JSC tests are published at the end of December, but this year, the authorities have taken preparations to publish the results earlier-ahead of the Dec 30 election.
A total of 3,095,123 candidates sat for the PSC and Ebtedayee tests while 2,670,333 candidates took the JSC and JDC exams between Nov 1 and 15.
